Resume

My undergrad career began at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, where I was involved in the University community as a Student Senator and  Gymnastics instructor.  In addition, I worked for Dr. E.K. Miller in a project addressing the function of HSP70.  To support myself,  I worked as a camera and board operator in the audio and video room of a nearby dog track.

Before transferring to the University of Minnesota I began working at 3m in their Special Materials and Manufacturing Division, Low Adhesive Backside Group.  At the University of Minnesota I studied in a plant genetics lab researching Trichome development under Dr. David Marks.

After Graduating with a B.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry I began working in a Molecular Lab focused on the function of Catalytic RNA’s headed by Dr. Greg Connell.  At the Connell lab I was privileged enough to be part of a project that resulted in an authorship in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

Currently I'm employed as a Technical Support Scientist at Upstate, a biotech in the Adirondack Mountains that specializes in cell signaling solutions.  In my free time I am studying to pass the patent bar, and enjoying the mountains on my cbr1100xx
